Temperature Controllers:

TE Technology offers numerous temperature controllers and power supplies. The temperature controllers use pulse-width modulation to control without causing harmful thermal cycling of the thermoelectric (Peltier) modules like on/off controllers. Fixed power supplies are required to power these controllers and can also be used without a controller if full cooling is desired. Variable voltage power supplies can be used to vary the power to thermoelectric modules and cooling assemblies if manual control is desired. Variable voltage power supplies can also be used with these temperature controllers, but the controller's minimum input voltage requirements (as specified in the downloadable controller manuals) must be satisfied. Model TC-24-10
The Model TC-24-10 is a proportional-integral (PI) temperature controller developed for equipment manufacturers requiring a low cost device. A thermistor is also included, and when it is ordered with a thermoelectric cooling assembly and a power supply, the necessary hook-up cables are also included.

Model TC-24-12
The TC-24-12 is a bi-polar (heat and cool) proportional-integral temperature controller that uses pulse-width modulation to provide the right balance between cost and system reliability. The controller can control systems requiring voltages from 10.8 VDC to 26.4 VDC and up to 11.9 A of current. It offers temperature indicator LED's, voltage test points for easy setup, and an over-temperature alarm. One thermistor is included, and when it is ordered with a thermoelectric cooling assembly and a power supply, the necessary connector wiring is also included.
TC-24-12 Temperature Controller
Model TC-24-25
The Model TC-24-25 is a proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller capable of bipolar control (heating and cooling) and useable in larger systems requiring up to 24 VDC and 25 A of power. The system is computer programmable and will also operate as a stand-alone controller once programmed. The controller is programmed via a RS485 interface, allowing multiple controllers to be addressed and configured from one standard nine pin serial communications port. This system is a complete package: a thermistor, an RS232 to RS485 converter box, and associated cables are included. When ordering this system with a thermoelectric cooling assembly and a power supply, the necessary hook-up cables are included.

In addition to the provided graphical user interface program (GUI), the GUI source code and other simple LabView programs can be downloaded and modified to adapt the controller to your specific application.
TC-24-25 Temperature Controller
Model TC-24-25 RS232
The Model TC-24-25 RS232 temperature controller uses a RS232 communications interface. One RS232 communications port on your computer will configure and monitor one controller. Direct programming via an RS232 communications port eliminates the need for the RS232 to RS485 converter box, thus eliminating cost and complexity when multiple controllers do not need to be daisy chained from the same communication port. In all other aspects, the Model TC-24-25 RS232 is the same as the Model TC-24-25 temperature controller. This system is a complete package: a thermistor and an RS232 cable are included. When ordering this system with a thermoelectric cooling assembly and a power supply, the necessary hook-up cables are included.

Power Supplies:

Variable Voltage Power Supplies

TE Technology offers an economical line of variable-voltage power supplies for use with our thermoelectric (Peltier) modules and temperature controllers. When used without a temperature controller, these supplies allow the user to manually vary & control the cooling power and/or experimentally determine the operating Vmax for the module and its Peltier heat sink. When used with a standard temperature controller, the power supply can be adjusted so the maximum output of the temperature controller is the operating Vmax of the module system. This is especially useful for cases when the operational Vmax is not a standard voltage such as 12 or 24 volts. While primarily intended for use with thermoelectric (Peltier) modules, these can also be used to power the thermoelectric modules in our standard cooling assemblies (a fixed-voltage power supply may still be needed for the fans, however). These power supplies are compact, lightweight switch-mode designs featuring voltage and current readouts and over-current protection.

Fixed Voltage Power Supplies

TE Technology offers an economical line of fixed-voltage power supplies for use with our thermoelectric coolers and temperature controllers. While primarily intended for use with our standard cooling assemblies, these can also be used with thermoelectric (Peltier) modules if they can be operated at one of the preset voltages. These power supplies are all compact switch mode designs with 115/230 VAC operation. They feature overload, over voltage and short circuit protection and are shipped ready to use with the AC power cord attached.
